Yeah…. It’s been a long time since I’ve updated, so I’ll mostly do a picture splurge to explain what’s been happening. Just read the captions! Oh, and I don’t have a picture, but Travis’s brother is going to be a daddy! That means I’ll finally be an Aunt! And an update on Aveline–she’s just started teething. She prefers to chew on her hands instead of a teething ring. I just bought a new, smaller teether today. We’ll see if she uses it… and she scoots backwards while lying on her back. She’s pretty good at it; shoves her head in the corner of the bassinet regularly. 
It’s about time to get a crib! She pays attention to 2-3 books at a time now. Her favorite seems to be the colors book.
Travis is (hopefully) starting his last year of school next week, and will start looking for internships. It’s likely he’ll end up out of state, but I’m crossing fingers, toes, arms, eyes, and ears that he’ll get one nearby.
My mom’s birthday was yesterday! To celebrate we’re going to the Box Elder county fair and rodeo Friday. I’ve never been to a rodeo, we’ll see how it is. And now… enjoy the bajillion pictures! Just click on them to make ‘em bigger.

- My dad graduated just before I had Aveline so I didn’t go to commencement. Proud of you, Dad!

- Pett Family reunion in Peterson, UT. I woke up at about 5am to use the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and found a huge spider on my face!!! Yeah, freaked out.

- 4th of July parade in Magna. It sprinkled rain–just enough to make it nice and cool.

- “Princess Leia” homemade earmuffs for the parade. I was afraid of the sirens hurting her ears. We used them for fireworks, too.

- Cherry Hills, Aug 16. Right before we found out Aveline had been in a car accident… no one was hurt, thank heaven! The car needed fixing, though.

Thank You for sharing all these pictures. All were fun. I enjoyed seeing your dad’s graduation, he is a very nice man and had a great accomplishment. And sharing all your things going on for the last few weeks helps up feel like we’re not so very far away. Hope shared some pictures she had and wow we can sure see this little girl growing up.
